History of Poncereau de Bas
Pontsoreau or Ponceeau was once the seat of a seigneury that belonged in 1490 to André Legret, squire, lord of La Mothe and Pontsoreau, married to daisy Jagonnas. In the 16th century, Pontsoreau was still in the hands of this family, represented by Arnault Legret.

The estate will remain in this family until the Revolution, it will then be confiscated and sold as national property. The description that was made in 1794, during the allotment process, mentioned "a house consisting of a vestibule, many rooms and a kitchen, all on the ground floor and attics above. The whole joining to the house, a poultry park, a roof with pigs and ewes, a barn to house the bestial and the fodder, a course, a garden...", corresponds to the simple body of buildings still visible nowadays .
